The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer covering East of London to join our growing Engineering Site Services team. You will be responsible for overseeing site service projects from contract receipt to completion, ensuring efficient allocation and management of resources, materials, plant, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities of the Project Engineer – East of London * Plan, manage, and deliver projects effectively, ensuring they are completed within agreed budgets and timelines. * Understand commercial and contractual aspects of projects to ensure compliance and successful delivery. * Conduct site surveys to scope work requirements and support quotation development. * Assist in producing significant quotations for service and related works. * Work closely with the Project and Service Sales teams to maximise business opportunities. * Maintain continuous communication on project progress, enabling accurate revenue forecasting and scheduling. * Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and effective deliverables. * Attend site meetings and conduct inspections as required. * Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and other H&S documentation. * Manage team workload effectively to meet deadlines. * Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients and stakeholders. What We’re Looking For * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar mechanical engineering role, preferably in the water industry or construction project environment. * Knowledge of construction-related regulations (e.g. CDM, LOLER, DSEAR, Confined Spaces). * Strong commercial awareness (forecasting, contracts, change management). * Experience in preparing RAMS and Programs of Works. * Experience dealing professionally with customers. * Based in Southeast London/West Kent region. * Full UK driving licence required.
