The Marketing Programmes & Events & Social Media Coordinator is a central execution role within AVK's marketing team, responsible for keeping marketing programmes, campaigns and events running on time, on brief and on budget. This role requires a structured, process-oriented individual who can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, tracking deadlines, coordinating suppliers and agencies, and ensuring nothing is left behind across a growing portfolio of marketing initiatives.

The Coordinator owns the operational delivery of AVK's campaign calendar and events programme, acting as the connective tissue between the marketing strategy and its day‑to‑day execution. A natural planner who thrives on organisation, clear processes and follow‑through will be most successful here. The events space in Data Centres is thriving; we’ll be at events such as DCD Connect Live and DataCloud Global Congress in Cannes.

Alongside this programme and events foundation, the role takes hands‑on ownership of social media content coordination, scheduling, publishing, and supporting the creation of short‑form, platform‑native content across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. This content dimension is not a separate function but a direct extension of the events and campaign work: capturing moments, repurposing outputs and maintaining a steady, recognisable presence across channels.

This is a new role that is fully within Marketing and is designed for someone who is equally comfortable building a project plan and picking up a camera at an event. It's a great time to join AVK and the marketing team.

Requirements

  • Own the operational delivery of AVK's campaign calendar and events programme, acting as the connective tissue between marketing strategy and day‑to‑day execution.
  • Coordinate event logistics end‑to‑end – managing timelines, suppliers, agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure nothing falls through the gaps.
  • Track deadlines and deliverables across multiple simultaneous workstreams, maintaining clear visibility for the wider marketing team.
  • Support sponsorship and partner activation, managing content commitments and post‑event amplification.
  • Produce post‑event content, follow‑up communications and performance summaries to close the loop on every activation.
  • Take hands‑on ownership of social scheduling, publishing and day‑to‑day channel management across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms.
  • Create and adapt short‑form, platform‑native content – capturing event moments, repurposing campaign outputs and maintaining a steady, recognisable brand presence.
  • Collaborate with the wider Marketing team to deliver AVK's 2026‑2027 content strategy across all social channels.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in a marketing coordination, events or social media role – ideally covering both disciplines.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of juggling multiple workstreams and hitting deadlines consistently.
  • Experience using project management tools to keep everyone organised; Asana is preferred but not essential.
  • Hands‑on experience creating and publishing content across Instagram, TikTok and/or YouTube – this is ideal but willingness to engage with it is what matters most to us.
  • Highly organised with a process‑oriented mindset; you build systems and follow through.
  • Strong communicator who can coordinate effectively across internal teams, agencies and external suppliers.
  • Excitement about the opportunity to operate and have impact in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment.

Benefits

  • Competitive benefits package
  • Flexible / hybrid working options
  • Ongoing training and career development
  • Supportive, collaborative team environment
  • Private Medical Insurance – Health Care
  • Company Bonus Scheme
  • Access to AVK North Face Merchandise
