The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact between the company and its clients, responsible for managing relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through contract renewals and product upsells. This role requires a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate internal resources to deliver value to clients. Please note that this role will involve travel to other AVK offices and client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, long term client relationships
- Manage and co-ordinate contract renewals for all strategic AVK Service clients
- Engage key stakeholders to ensure that key deliverables are achievable
- Act as the trusted advisor and primary liaison between the client and internal teams
- Understand client goals, industry trends and the business needs to identify growth opportunities
- Co-ordinate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met
- Achieve assigned revenue and retention targets
- Upsell and cross-sell products or services based on the client needs
- Monitor the account health and provide regular updates and performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders
- Proactively address client issues and concerns to maintain satisfaction
- Negotiate contracts, pricing and service level agreements (SLAs)
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, Client Services Manager, or similar role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
- Experience with analysing performance v budget
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
