Description
At AVK we are looking for three Trainee Generator Engineers to join our Service Team.
The role would suit a candidate that expresses an interest in either mechanical or electrical engineering, specifically heavy industrial engines and alternative power technologies and is seeking to expand their knowledge and experience alongside a team of experienced engineers, within a successful service division.
The role will provide you with a solid foundation of generator engineering and prepare you for carrying out works within the service division.
The development opportunities within this role will be managed through the AVK Academy where successful candidates will receive recognised training and a development pathway from Level 4 through to Level 1.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out minor / major maintenance on client’s generator installations, as directed by the accompanying site engineer
- Completing job report sheets
- Maintain all on site activities such as cleanliness of generators, spillages in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.
- Prepare job packs and spares for upcoming works.
- Driving of spares to work locations
- Supporting the warehouse
- Other activities as directed / required.
- Responsible for health and safety of self.
