Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven QA/QC Manager to lead and develop our quality, compliance, and continuous improvement strategy across our Modular Services division.
This is a key role for us, responsible for establishing a best-in-class Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with international standards, and embedding a culture of quality throughout the business.
Working across design, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and installation activities, you will ensure our Modular Power Pods, E-Houses, LV/MV electrical assemblies, and associated systems consistently meet customer, regulatory, and business requirements.

The Role
As QA/QC Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing management of our integrated quality framework.
A key priority will be the selection, implementation, and administration of a company-wide QMS platform, ensuring robust control of processes, documentation, audits, corrective actions, and compliance activities.
You will work closely with Engineering, Production, Projects, HSE, Procurement, Compliance and Supply Chain teams to drive quality excellence and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Management Systems & Compliance
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Select, deploy, and manage a digital QMS platform, ensuring effective adoption across the business.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and quality documentation.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with
- ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems
- ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems
- ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems
- Manage external certification bodies and support surveillance and recertification audits.
- Establish and monitor quality KPIs and reporting frameworks.
- Quality Assurance & Quality Control
- Oversee inspections and quality controls throughout design, manufacturing, FAT, commissioning, and site installation activities.
- Ensure traceability, documentation control, and compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Review and approve quality records, inspection reports, test certificates, and manufacturing documentation.
- Audit, NCR & Continuous Improvement
- Lead internal audit programmes and supplier quality audits.
- Working in collaboration with our compliance team.
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventative actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective measures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Stakeholder & Supplier Management
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Production Teams, BIM Coordinators, and Supply Chain partners to embed quality throughout project delivery.
- Support supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and quality improvement programmes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer and third-party audits.
Requirements
You will be a hands-on quality professional capable of building robust systems while influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience in a QA/QC Manager, Quality Manager, or Senior Quality Leadership position.
- Experience implementing and managing Quality Management Systems within manufacturing, modular construction, electrical engineering, switchgear, power distribution, Powerpods, E-Pods, or similar environments of power distribution.
- Demonstrable experience leading ISO certification and compliance programmes.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes, inspection and testing requirements, and document control.
- Technical Knowledge

- Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and specifications would be advantageous.
- Experience with digital QMS platforms and audit management systems.
Qualifications
- HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or industry experience.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification preferred.
