We are looking for a Graduate Estimator to support the Estimating Team in preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets and tender submissions. You will assist in data gathering, measurement and analysis to help deliver commercially sound project proposals. This role is perfect for someone who has just completed university and is looking to gain hands on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in tender, kick off, mid bid and final sign off meetings
- Prepare RFQs for the supply chain
- Prepare support quantity take-offs and measurement exercises
- Accurately level supply chain bids both technically and commercially
- Prepare cost estimates and tender documentation for projects
- Develop accurate cashflow forecasts for each tender
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned estimating tasks within project deadlines
- Flag risks and issues to senior team members
- Maintain and organise cost databases and benchmarking data
- Participate in contractor and supply chain meetings to gather pricing intelligence
- Continuously develop technical knowledge and commercial awareness
- Deliver commercial feedback to the supply chain team for vendors
