The predicted salary is between 55000 - 78000 £ per year.

We employ people in several countries and time zones. Making that work well — rather than merely legally — takes someone who owns the systems, the policies and the day-to-day practice. You would build that function, mostly from scratch, with the latitude that implies.

The work you would own:

  • Onboarding and offboarding across multiple countries
  • International employment compliance and employer-of-record relationships
  • Performance and compensation review cycles
  • HR systems and accurate records
  • Supporting managers with employee relations

What we are looking for:

  • Four or more years in people operations or HR, with experience of international employment and remote-first teams.
  • Working knowledge of employment law in several jurisdictions, discretion, and the ability to build process without building bureaucracy.

Where you work:

This role is based in London, with most people in two or three days a week. The rest of the company is remote, so you will not be the only person on a video call — but this particular job is better done in a room with other people, and we would rather say that plainly than discover it six months in. We sponsor visas for it. Apply from any country: if you are the person we want, we will sponsor your work visa and cover the move — the application fees, the legal costs, and the relocation itself. Our People team runs the process with you rather than handing you a form and wishing you luck.

Pay and the rest of it:

£55,000–£78,000 a year, reviewed every year against the market for where you live, plus share options — everyone here owns a piece of the company. Flexible hours, a budget for whatever laptop and desk you actually want, an annual learning budget, generous paid time off that we check people take, and paid parental leave for every parent however you become one.
