Location: London / Bristol / York / Sheffield / Norwich - While we offer flexibility in location, this role requires weekly travel to London.
A bit about the job: In this role, you will play a key part in supporting and shaping engagement with UK regulators (PRA and FCA), acting as a trusted advisor to the UKGI ExCo, Board and senior leaders. You will take ownership of the coordination and delivery of high-quality, timely responses to regulatory requests, helping to ensure that Aviva maintains the confidence of its supervisors through clear, transparent and proactive engagement. To support preparation for regulatory interactions, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across UKGI, providing insights on supervisory priorities, expectations and emerging themes. You will also use these insights to contribute to internal reporting, supporting wider understanding and awareness of regulatory themes. More broadly, you will have the opportunity to connect with counterparts across the Group to share best practice in regulatory engagement and enhance visibility of cross-cutting regulatory priorities.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience in the General Insurance sector, with a good understanding of products and wider market dynamics.
- Strong understanding of the UK regulatory landscape, including PRA and FCA supervisory priorities and approach.
- Proven ability to manage competing high-impact priorities and deliver quality outputs to tight deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence and knowledge to engage credibly with senior business, risk and compliance stakeholders.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting senior-level briefings and ability to interpret regulatory expectations and translate these into clear, actionable insights for the business.

- Salary circa £100,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
