A bit about the job

As an IT Project Manager within the Group Functions & Data CIO Finance Change Delivery function, you will play a key role in supporting Ireland GI Finance to deliver its strategic change agenda. Working across a portfolio of projects, you will lead and coordinate technology change activity, helping to deliver business outcomes that support finance transformation and organisational objectives. You will work closely with colleagues across Ireland GI Finance, Ireland GI CIO, Group Functions & Data IT Platform, IT Change Delivery, and UK GI Finance Business Change teams. You will be responsible for planning and delivering projects, managing risks and dependencies, maintaining strong governance and reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and standards. As a trusted partner to stakeholders, you will also contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery practices and support the development of less experienced colleagues.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Proven experience delivering technology and finance change projects within a complex organisational environment.
  • Strong project management expertise, including planning, governance, risk management, budget control, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience building effective relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve complex issues, and drive projects through to successful delivery.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills, with experience supporting and developing less experienced team members.
