This is a great job for someone who enjoys combining pricing, analytics and portfolio management to drive underwriting performance, and is comfortable working with data to influence strategy and profitability. A bit about the job: This is an exciting opportunity to join the Portfolio Solutions & Performance Management team, supporting underwriting growth, profitability, and strategic initiatives across Aviva GCS. The role exists to provide pricing support, portfolio insights and performance oversight, helping the business make better underwriting and capital decisions. You’ll work across performance management, portfolio analytics and deal support, contributing to both day-to-day oversight and new, innovative transactions. You will be accountable for delivering data-driven insights, supporting pricing and structuring, and helping optimise portfolio performance.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with data, models and statistical techniques
  • Strong mathematical or statistical foundation
  • Ability and curiosity to understand new products and risk structures
  • Experience in pricing or performance management (insurance/reinsurance desirable)
  • Coding skills (e.g. Python, R) or exposure to advanced/algorithmic underwriting concepts (desirable)
