A bit about the job:

Each SBI is vital to ensuring Aviva continues to deliver great outcomes for its customers. Your SBI is an enterprise-wide technology transformation of our Insurance, Wealth & Retirement business, touching directly every Aviva customer who owns a Life product. You will partner with your business unit to provide thought leadership and act as the technology risk SME, attending all levels of programme governance required, identifying and challenging risks and assisting 1LOD colleagues to unblock complexity. This may include inputs to Risk Opinions in support of SMFs, attending problem-specific working groups as the risk’s technical SME, or briefing Executives to seeking risk acceptance or understanding of issues to be mitigated. You will coordinate responses to key risks and issues and provide forward-looking insights to keep your SBI on its critical pathway.
You will also support the business in the effective assessment and, where required, remediation of their change risks and associated key controls and control initiatives (including deep dives & control testing) as required, while ensuring delivery to the Aviva Change Framework standards.
