This is a great job for someone who loves building strong relationships and a passion for delivering real impact across Aviva’s most critical suppliers. You might be an experienced contract or commercial manager, or ready for a step up in IT supplier management. If you enjoy working with people, solving problems, and driving value, this could be your next move.
You’ll join our Strategic IT Contract Management Team, managing Aviva’s most important third‑party IT suppliers. Your work will help us get the best from our supplier relationships, reduce third‑party risk, and deliver real value to the business. You’ll work closely with senior colleagues across IT, Procurement and other business areas, making sure our contracts are robust, and our suppliers deliver on their promises. This is your chance to shape how we work with our suppliers, drive best practice and make a real difference at Aviva.
Skills and experience we’re looking for
- Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensuring alignment and collaboration across all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in contract management, including identifying and mitigating contractual risks and ensuring compliance within complex IT environments.
- Strong negotiation capabilities, with a track record of leading and supporting high‑value, complex IT agreement negotiations.
- Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex issues and influence outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Resilience and adaptability in high‑pressure environments, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
