Are you a qualified Actuary with detailed understanding of the financial dynamics of the Group Protection business?

A bit about the job:
The team have responsibility for managing the financial and commercial performance of Group Protection. The focus of the team includes profitability, costing, risk pricing, management of expenses whilst keeping our promises to our customers and ensuring our business remains safe and sustainable.
The team use product experience and performance to identify trends, deviations from expected and any emerging issues which might affect product costing or risk pricing and then propose and implement mitigating actions. We also support the strategy of the business by providing pricing for product developments and other projects.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Qualified actuary with a preference for Group Protection experience
- Proven technical and commercial ability
- Strong problem solving, analytical and modelling skills
- Proactive, taking ownership and accountability for work
- Strong communication skills both verbally and through report writing and presenting
What you’ll get for this role:

Starting salary Circa £85,000-£100,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)

Bonus opportunity – 12% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
