A bit about the job:

This role supports the Group Actuarial Function in providing joined‑up actuarial oversight across our General Insurance businesses. You’ll be part of a close‑knit, experienced team that works together to help leaders and Boards understand reserves and capital with confidence. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across Group and local markets to share insight, deliver high‑quality analysis, and strengthen assurance outcomes. The role covers reserving and capital analysis, and reporting across multiple GI markets. You’ll contribute to a supportive team culture focused on clear, consistent delivery.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Actuary, or equivalent experience, with strong GI capital and/or reserving expertise.
  • Proven ability to make sound actuarial judgements and explain them clearly.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and presenting to committees.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting complex data.
  • Exposure to multiple GI markets, reinsurance, or actuarial tools such as ResQ, AIM, Python, or R.
