We are excited to be recruiting for a Senior Data Product Owner to join us within the Chief Information Office (CIO) – Investments, Wealth and Retirement (IWR) team to work on delivering new customer journeys, driving continuous improvement and focusing overall on delivering the best customer experience for our Wealth business (individual and corporate entities) that underpin digital, operational, marketing and analytical use cases!

Whilst working in CIO, the Data Product Owner for Wealth is pivotal to the business area and will act as the key liaison between the business, data and delivery teams, ensuring alignment on business objectives, technical requirements, and customer experience. This role requires a skilled data and change practitioner with a proven track record in crafting product roadmaps that promote growth.

A bit about the job:

  • The position holder is responsible for supporting our business by developing new customer journeys, utilising data to understand customer needs, translating business vision into actionable requirements and solutions, and continuously improving our end-to-end customer journeys underpinned by the Salesforce CRM platform.
  • This will include defining and communicating product vision and strategy for the Wealth business, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives, whilst maintaining a clearly defined, prioritized roadmap aligned with customer needs, business goals, technical feasibility, and overall strategy.
  • The successful individual will be a partner to our business and technology teams to support decisions on priorities that lead to efficient deliveries that maximise value and communicating clear recommendations and action plans to collaborators.
  • You will be responsible for driving user experience and end-user journeys, ensuring alignment on expected outcomes and standards.
  • This role will provide day-to-day oversight and support to project and persistent teams to remove blockers and impediments as appropriate, translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team, and coordinate the end-to-end project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and requirement analysis to implementation and post-launch support.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience of utilising Data to enhance customer experience within a Wealth environment is essential.
  • Understanding of data principles for operational, regulatory, and strategic progress using data to influence decision making.
  • Experience of delivering change to Salesforce CRM (or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Proactive in delivering change with empowerment and business acumen.
  • Good understanding and experience in using Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills to partner with IT and business colleagues.
  • Expertise in solving business problems through data-led technology solutions.
