A bit about the job:
- You’ll manage a team of around 15 technical claims professionals handling high value and complex motor injury claims.
- Your role will be to drive performance, manage indemnity spend, and ensure excellent customer outcomes.
- You’ll work closely with colleagues across underwriting, actuarial, and legal to influence strategy and improve our personal and commercial motor end-to-end systems.
- This is a key leadership role within our Major & Complex Claims (MCC) team, where you’ll help shape the future of motor claims at Aviva.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong leadership experience in managing technical claims teams.
- Deep knowledge of UK motor injury claims and the wider insurance market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACII) or equivalent experience.
