This is a fantastic risk role opportunity for someone to positively impact the risk environment within UK General Insurance Claims, helping to manage the likelihood and impact of adverse events whilst supporting the Claims business with their oversight and understanding of the control environment through testing key controls.
A bit about the job:
In this role you will support control testing for key claims controls across the UK General Insurance team. You will support the oversight, logging and tracking of low rated claims risk events. Using your risk and customer focus you will provide claims handlers and managers support, and assist with 2nd and 3rd line reviews of risks and controls. You'll be expected to recommend mitigating actions to address risk events as well as recommending conclusions and outcomes for control testing including recommending actions to address issues identified.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Good understanding of risk, compliance, governance and audit principles/methodology (e.g. ORCM).
- Planning and organising skills - an independent and proactive worker.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management at all levels up to and including, Head of.
- A detailed knowledge of Claims systems, processes and quality management would be an advantage.
- Data led assessments and experience of data management, reporting and analytics also would be an advantage.
