12-month Fixed term contract
Location: London, York, Norwich, Perth or Bristol based (50% hybrid working)
We have an opportunity for an experienced Procurement Systems and Change Consultant to join our supportive and driven team. This is a great job for someone with systems and change management experience who is looking to progress their career through a secondment opportunity!
A bit about the job:
The purpose of this role is to support our procurement Tech & Data team to maximise value from our procurement tools, process and governance, ensuring all change activity is handled in an efficient and effective way. This will be done by both owning and executing changes within the system or processes and by coordinating all procurement system change activities, technical defects & enhancements. This will also include producing reporting to support the overall change picture and communicate activities upwards through management. Additionally, you will collaborate with our on and offshore partners to ensure a continuous improvement culture is embedded and delivered through incremental and larger change.
To succeed in this role you will have strong commercial awareness and business skills.
Please note that we can offer this role as a 12-month Fixed term contract.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Good working knowledge of change and demand management processes
- IT Knowledge —Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Ariba or other Procurement, or similar, systems
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a strong focus on identifying customer needs and pain point root causes
- Ability to interpret complex data and previous experience of handling sophisticated change projects would be beneficial
- An understanding of end-to-end Procurement & SRM processes
