A bit about the job: We are recruiting for an internal Pricing Manager position within Aviva Zero following a colleague’s promotion to another area of the business. Since launching in 2022, Aviva Zero has rapidly scaled to serve ~1 million motor customers, and the pricing team has been at the fulcrum of this success. Within this role you’ll be collaborating closely with product, engineering, data, analytics and reserving teams to deliver innovative, high-impact pricing solutions.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for enhancing our end-to-end pricing, from refining risk cost and elasticity models to implementing quick-win rate changes in response to emerging market or claims trends. Create, test, and refine new rating features that elevate our pricing algorithm, then quickly learn what works through A/B testing and real-time feedback. We are looking for someone who can turn insights into commercial impact and keep driving pricing performance forward.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing, performance review, or data-driven decision-making
- Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams in an agile environment
- Experience developing and refining pricing models
- Skilled at communicating insights to senior stakeholders and influencing commercial outcomes
- Experience in SQL, Python, Radar and Emblem desirable but not essential
What you’ll get for this role:
- Starting salary between £55,000 and £65,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
