Kick Start Your Customer Service Career with Aviva Customer Service Expert - Starting salary between £25,400- £29,028 (depending on hours, location, skills and experience).
Location: Sheffield - this is a hybrid working role with 50% of your time in the office and 50% at home offering flexibility. (Initially it will be full-time for training - c. 12 weeks). Allocated shift pattern between: 08:00 - 18:00, Monday - Friday.

A bit about the job: We have permanent opportunities for candidates who have a passion for providing exceptional customer service to join our Claims Team within Aviva. This is a very rewarding role as we are helping our customers when they need us the most, it may be that they have lost a loved one, or themselves have a critical or terminal illness.
Successful candidates will need a positive approach to change, have commitment and drive as well as having the desire to learn/develop using initiative, ownership, and judgment to seek the best resolution for all customer queries. Don't worry if you have no previous Claims experience as we will give you all the training you will need to support you in your journey to learn about our products and customers.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Finds it easy to talk to customers and can handle customer interactions with sympathy and support, whilst providing clear information.
- Experience of working within an office environment is highly desirable, although strong experience within another professional customer-facing role would be considered, i.e. retail.
- Ability to work on own initiative and make decisions in a customer-focused team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly demanding, constantly changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with great attention to detail.
What you'll get for this role:
- Starting salary between £25,400 - £29,028 (depending on hours, skills and experience) plus additional benefits.
