A bit about the job:
We're looking for a Project Manager to support a major programme of pensions work for Aviva's staff schemes. You'll be reporting into Head of Pensions Programme Management and will help deliver long-term value for members by overseeing key projects like GMP equalisation and BPA transactions. You'll join a collaborative team working closely with the Trustee, Aviva's internal businesses and external service providers. Your role will be central to ensuring these projects run smoothly, meet deadlines, and deliver strategic goals.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Proven experience managing large-scale pensions projects (DB and DC) using MS Project
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including with legal, actuarial, and investment teams
- Ability to manage budgets, risks, and performance reporting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with trustees or pension scheme governance is a plus
What you'll get for this role:
- Starting salary between Regional: £45 - 55k / London: £55 - 65k (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
