A bit about the job: As the Senior Pricing Manager – Broker Home & Motor Schemes, you'll be responsible for leading pricing activity across Aviva's Personal Lines General Insurance Schemes portfolio, where elements of pricing and/or underwriting authority are delegated to our scheme brokers. Working closely with Trading, Distribution, Underwriting and Reserving teams, you'll manage portfolio performance while building strong relationships with scheme brokers and key partners. This role offers a rare opportunity to explore and develop innovative underwriting and pricing solutions within a specialist area of the business for customers that are not catered for within our main footprint. You'll play an important role in identifying new opportunities, influencing pricing strategy and generating insights that can help shape Aviva's wider Personal Lines underwriting approach. Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong understanding of the UK Personal Lines General Insurance market, particularly Home and Motor insurance.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, commercial judgement and interpersonal skills.
- Numerical Skills essential, experience within pricing and/or underwriting would be advantageous, although not essential.
- Curiosity, pragmatism and determination, with the ability to identify opportunities and turn ideas into practical outcomes.
- Experience leading teams, managing portfolios and building effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
What you’ll get for this role:
- Starting salary between £70,000 and c. £85,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary, (actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.)
