A bit about the job: This role sits within the Personal Lines Underwriting (PLU) team, which is responsible for pricing and underwriting Aviva’s personal lines products including home, motor and travel insurance in the UK. You’ll be working within a diverse and experienced team that focuses on problem solving, using data to identify improvements, and developing innovative pricing models. The role involves working across Aviva PCW motor brands, collaborating with teams across Analytics, Finance, Underwriting, Claims, Conduct and Compliance to identify opportunities for profitable growth and deliver good customer outcomes. You’ll support the ongoing performance of key products while contributing insights, analysis and ideas to improve pricing strategies and drive business performance.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Prior experience in GI pricing, preferably Motor or Home
  • Strong analytical skills and a natural problem solver
  • Highly numerate with a strong interest in data and statistics
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain insights clearly
