A bit about the job: We’re looking for an Operational Resilience Specialist to help strengthen the resilience of our payment and banking operations. You’ll make sure we have effective, tested procedures in place to keep things running smoothly – even in challenging situations. This role covers the whole of Finance Operations, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable across onshore and offshore teams. You’ll work closely with operational resilience teams and suppliers to plan, test, and maintain systems that support critical processes like BACS, Faster Payments, and CHAPS. Your work will help Aviva meet regulatory requirements and stay prepared for whatever comes next.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Responsibility for Standby systems and Disaster Recovery coordination
- Ability to work across teams and build collaborative relationships
- Knowledge of payment systems and financial operations (e.g., BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments)
- Experience with business continuity planning and resilience testing
- Confidence in maintaining documentation and managing online records
