A bit about the job:

Reporting to the Senior Governance & Assurance Reporting Manager, in this role, you will support the production of risk and conduct reporting across UK General Insurance for boards, committees and wider governance forums, ensuring outputs are accurate, insightful and aligned to business needs. In addition, you will support on the collation, validation and submission of regular data submissions to the FCA such as value measures and complaints data. The position involves reviewing data to identify quality issues, trends, gaps and emerging risks, alongside assisting with the governance of metrics, tolerances and reporting changes. Working closely with business, data and BI teams, you will help drive continuous improvements in MI and reporting processes, while also contributing to the development of new metrics and enhanced reporting coverage. There is a strong emphasis on producing clear, concise reporting and actionable insights for stakeholders, as well as supporting audit, oversight and broader risk reporting activities where required.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Experience within a risk or governance environment, ideally with some exposure to reporting in a regulated financial services organisation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting the production of reports and with a focus on detail, data quality and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools and an ability to present information in a clear and accessible way.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with an interest in developing insight‑led thinking and supporting the identification of emerging trends and improvements.
