A bit about the job:
You'll join our Group COO team, helping to embed a strong risk and governance culture across the business. Your work will support our senior leadership team and influence how we manage risk and compliance. You'll lead governance reporting, coordinate forums, and deliver insights that shape our strategy. This role is all about making sure we're doing the right things, in the right way, for the right reasons. And you'll be at the heart of it.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Experience operating in a risk and control role, ideally within 1st line.
- Deep understanding of Risk and Control frameworks within the Financial Services industry.
- Experience of embedding risk frameworks and technical controls.
- Senior level influencing, relationship management and consulting experience.
- Ability to translate risk information into clear insight for senior stakeholders.
What you'll get for this role:
- Salary circa £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
