This role is central to modernising and optimising Finance processes within our General Insurance function. You’ll play a key part in delivering Finance Transformation initiatives by assessing current-state processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, control and data quality, and shaping future-state designs. You’ll work closely with teams across Finance, Actuarial, Operations, Underwriting and Technology to create streamlined, scalable, and standardised processes. You’ll also support the delivery of system enhancements, data improvements and process re-engineering, ensuring smooth transition into BAU and realisation of benefits.
Responsibilities
- Play a key part in delivering Finance Transformation initiatives by assessing current-state processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, control and data quality, and shaping future-state designs.
- Work closely with teams across Finance, Actuarial, Operations, Underwriting and Technology to create streamlined, scalable, and standardised processes.
- Support the delivery of system enhancements, data improvements and process re‑engineering, ensuring smooth transition into BAU and realisation of benefits.
Skills and experience
- Experienced in process improvement and business analysis preferably within finance.
- Advantageous to have completed Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement training and applied these methodologies in practice.
- Effective stakeholder management, building strong relationships and ensuring clear, consistent communication.
- Ability to analyse complex data, identify root causes and turn insights into practical improvements.
- Experience in process mapping, using tools such as Visio.
