A bit about the role
This role exists to lead and strengthen the Business Analysis capability across large, complex programmes and portfolios at Aviva. As a Principal Business Analyst, you'll set direction, embed best practice, and ensure our change initiatives deliver real value for customers, colleagues, and shareholders. Acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader, you'll connect workstreams, influence senior decision‑makers, and play a key role in delivering transformational change across the business.
Skills and experience we’re looking for
- Extensive experience leading business analysis on large, complex programmes or portfolios within a large organisation.
- Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, shaping decisions that drive value and business outcomes.
- Strong background in defining business problems, developing business cases, and evaluating solution options.
- Experience coaching, leading, and developing Business Analysts to drive consistent quality and best practice.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on involvement, ensuring solutions are viable, deliverable, and aligned to architecture and customer needs.
