Overview
Loss Adjuster – Norwich at Aviva. This home-based role involves visiting customers in the Norwich area. To be considered, you must have a full UK driving license and reside in the region, as customer visits are an integral part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Provide a customer-focused and cost-effective service by handling property claims from instruction to completion, ensuring claims stay within agreed financial authority.
- Work from home with reasonable travel across the UK to meet customer needs; flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends; a company car is provided for travel.
Skills and experience
- High-Value Claims Experience: ideally claims around £100,000, with consideration for claims over £50,000.
- Qualifications: minimum Cert CII or CILA; Dip CII is welcome but not required.
- Technical Know-How: solid understanding of insurance principles, subrogation, underwriting practices, and ABI report writing.
- Building Practices Insight: knowledge of building practices and regulations for property reinstatements and tendering is a plus.
- Customer Focus: track record of managing claims from cradle to grave with strong customer satisfaction.
