A seasoned Solution Architect with deep experience in Generative AI who enjoys working at pace on complex, enterprise‑scale change. This role will suit someone with a strong growth mindset who is excited by building agentic AI capabilities, shaping AI architecture at scale, and influencing how a large organisation accelerates and embeds AI across its delivery lifecycle.
A bit about the job: This role sits within Aviva’s Group CIO change agenda and is part of a significant investment into Generative and Agentic AI. You’ll play a key role in a major change and efficiency programme, aligned to a project focused on how Aviva accelerates AI adoption and embeds it into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Acting as a senior individual contributor, you’ll help shape Aviva’s AI architecture, working across complex workflows and existing enabling capabilities. You’ll collaborate closely with a large, multi‑disciplinary project team including Project Managers, Business Analysts and engineers.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong background as a Solution Architect working on large‑scale, complex change programmes
- Proven experience with Generative AI and/or Agentic AI, including understanding of LLMs and AI‑driven workflows
- Experience working in a model‑agnostic AI environment (e.g. OpenAI, Meta), with strong knowledge of APIs and MCP Protocols
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, alongside SaaS‑based architectures
- Strong awareness of security, governance and AI guardrails within regulated environments, with excellent stakeholder management skills
