This is a great job for someone who wants to play a key role to drive the incident response life cycle for serious cyber incidents by ensuring that the relevant parts of the business are engaged and activated to undertake the actions needed to reduce impact on our business.
A bit about the job
The Senior Cyber Incident Manager will help develop our incident response capabilities, including writing and maintaining playbooks, assessing the incident response maturity, and assisting in table‐top cyber‐scenario exercises. You will provide SME support to wider cyber related projects and support the continuous service improvement of incident management.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Lead, manage and own high severity cyber security incidents, directing effective and timely response activities through a coordinated and structured approach across business stakeholders.
- Strong awareness of incident response principles and a technical understanding of how Threat Actors operate. Adept at collating and reviewing both technical and non-technical information to ensure that response actions are appropriate and delivered in a timely manner.
- Ability to act autonomously as well as part of the team. Taking ownership of the work, protecting the business and customers by managing the risk effectively.
- Strong written reporting and verbal communication skills; in particular the ability to deliver appropriate information across the spectrum of incident resolver group participants.
- Be an active member of the out of hours on call team, providing 24/7 incident support.

- Salary: Circa £65000 (depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications).
