A bit about the job: Our Customer Science team uses data to understand customers so we can be more relevant and take better actions. We are award-winning and passionate about driving better customer and commercial outcomes. This role will sit in our 'Customer and Marketing' squad, focused on applying robust analytics techniques to generate actionable insights that improve marketing effectiveness and customer experience. We are looking for someone with a strong commercial mindset who is able to tell compelling stories with data and takes a pragmatic approach to analytics. The individual will partner with stakeholders across Marketing and Digital functions to deliver against a value-prioritised roadmap, balancing technical rigour with practical solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and partner on shared goals. Confident presenting complex concepts to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving, turning complex business questions into clear, data-driven solutions that inform decisions and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Expertise in measuring incrementality through statistical techniques such as causal impact modelling, A/B testing, significance testing.
- Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work independently, while contributing as a strong team player and mentoring others.
- Strong programming skills in SQL and/or Python; educated to degree or post-graduate level in a numerate or programming-oriented subject, or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge through industry experience.

- Starting salary £55,000 – £75,000 for London based (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity 10% of annual salary – actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's
