A bit about the job: You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of large and complex claims across the fast‑growing Renewables sector, including wind, solar, battery storage and emerging energy technologies. You’ll lead technical investigations, manage stakeholder expectations and make confident decisions that deliver fair outcomes in line with our claims philosophy. You’ll work closely with brokers, clients, adjusters and legal experts, acting as a trusted specialist for renewable energy losses. You’ll also play a key role in shaping our approach to renewables claims by spotting risk trends, supporting governance and recommending process improvements.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience handling complex, high‑value claims, ideally in renewables, energy or specialist commercial lines.
  • Deep technical knowledge of claims investigation, fraud indicators and relevant legislation.
  • Share best practice and enhance technical capability across teams.
  • Excellent relationship skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and external experts.
  • Comfortable working with relevant systems such as Guidewire and Xchanging.
