A bit about the job:
In this role you would be a key member of the Financial Lines claims team. You would be responsible for managing a wide range of complex and high value Financial Institutions, D&O, Crime and M&A claims as part of a wider team of market professionals. This role strengthens how we handle technical claims and ensures our guidance stays accurate, clear and aligned with regulation. It focuses on improving processes, sharing expertise and supporting colleagues to deliver fair, consistent and expert outcomes. Insight plays a big part, helping us understand trends, refine our approach and improve the customer experience. You'll work closely with teams across Aviva, as well as suppliers and reinsurers, to reduce risk and maintain strong claims performance. At its core, this role helps protect our customers' interests and supports the continued development of the Claims function.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Strong technical claims knowledge, with the ability to interpret regulation and turn it into practical guidance.
- Experience influencing stakeholders across internal teams and external partners, without needing direct line management.
- Ability to use insight and data to identify improvements and strengthen claims outcomes.
- Confident decision-maker with a collaborative approach to change, improvement and technical development.
- Familiarity with claims operations, trends or process enhancements that help shape future ways of working.
