A bit about the job:
You will join our Global Broker Team in London, one of Aviva's key trading hubs, working closely with global brokers in a vibrant and fast‐paced market. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service, driving new and existing business, and contributing to underwriting profit and loss. Alongside trading responsibilities, you will mentor colleagues and help improve underwriting capability across the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence strategy and make a real impact.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Strong underwriting expertise in Property & Casualty, with experience in real estate, specialty lines, or motor as a plus
- Proven ability to win and retain business through effective negotiation and relationship management
- Experience applying underwriting knowledge to improve processes and deliver quality outcomes
- Ability to manage your own caseload within a regulatory environment
- Diploma in CII or willingness to study towards CII qualifications
