This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in finance change and reinsurance to join a high-profile integration programme within the insurance sector. You will play a pivotal role in delivering a complex, business-critical transformation, working alongside senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Legal and Group functions.
A bit about the job:
- As Finance Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of a major reinsurance integration programme, overseeing key workstreams including treaty development, operational readiness, governance and regulatory approvals, including Part VII activity.
- You will be responsible for coordinating delivery across multiple business functions, ensuring alignment with governance requirements and regulatory expectations, while managing programme risks, dependencies and Board-level reporting.
- This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership, organisation and stakeholder management skills within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- Proven experience delivering complex change programmes as a Project Manager or Change Lead within insurance or financial services.
- Strong understanding of reinsurance and/or insurance finance, with the ability to work within capital, liquidity and IFRS-driven environments.
- Experience delivering large-scale integration or transaction-related programmes, such as Part VII transfers, portfolio transfers or business integrations.
- Demonstrable experience managing governance-heavy programmes, including Board and Committee reporting.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management and controls, with experience working closely alongside Risk, Legal and Compliance teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, interdependencies and critical delivery milestones.
- Highly organised, proactive and delivery-focused, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including producing concise, Board-ready documentation.
