This role would suit someone with strong corporate governance experience, ideally within a listed company, who is confident managing external relationships and senior stakeholders. A bit about the job: As Corporate Governance Manager, you'll deliver high-quality governance support across a range of shareholder and corporate activities. You'll lead AGM planning and delivery, working with external event planners and managing the associated budget. You'll also manage the relationship with our registrar, oversee shareholder services and projects, and ensure compliance with Listing Rule requirements around share capital. The role includes drafting shareholder communications, contributing to the Annual Report and Accounts and maintaining the shareholder section of our corporate website.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Qualified company secretary with extensive listed company secretarial and corporate governance knowledge, gained from working for FTSE 250 companies previously.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with experience managing budgets and external suppliers.
- Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including with registrars and shareholder service providers.
- Solid understanding of shareholder services, capital maintenance, and regulatory reporting.
- Excellent self-management i.e., the ability to work independently, making business critical decisions.

- Salary circa £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
