A bit about the job:
- Youâll lead our Mid Market Branch across Scotland and Northern Ireland, guiding a team of around 45â50 colleagues.
- Youâll shape underwriting performance, strengthen broker partnerships, and help us grow a portfolio worth more than ÂŁ100m.
- Youâll work side by side with Sales and Distribution to present one clear Aviva presence to the market.
- Youâll also play an active role in our North Region Senior Leadership Team, influencing strategy and bringing our values to life.
- Your leadership will help your team deliver great outcomes for customers, brokers and our business.
Skills and experience weâre looking for:
- Leadership experience in commercial insurance, ideally in midâmarket underwriting or senior broking.
- A track record of leading large, multiâlocation teams and supporting leaders.
- Strong, trusted relationships across the Scotland and Northern Ireland broker market.
- Confident commercial judgement and the ability to drive sustainable, profitable growth.
- Comfortable representing Aviva externally, building influence and partnering closely with Sales and Distribution.
