Join Aviva as a BI Developer in the Bristol area. You will design and build dashboards and reports using Qlik, Business Objects, and Power BI, optimise BI processes, and support business self-service through effective data visualisation. You will be part of the Finance Technology Platform within CIO Group Functions β a team at the heart of Aviva's Finance Transformation. We are responsible for moving and transforming data into a central repository, enabling accurate regulatory reporting and supporting both operational and analytical functions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build dashboards and reports using Qlik, Business Objects, and Power BI.
- Help optimise BI processes, collaborate with stakeholders, and support business self-service through effective data visualisation.
Skills and experience:
- Strong experience with relational databases, data architecture, data modelling, and data warehouse concepts.
- Hands-on knowledge of tools and languages like Business Objects, Qlik Sense, Power BI, SQL, Python, R, or VBA.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Great communication skills β able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
