A bit about the job: This role sits within the Probitas Finance Leadership team, reporting to the Head of Finance. You'll lead both the corporate finance function across UK and overseas entities, and the finance operations team, ensuring compliance and driving process improvements. You'll be the key link between Probitas and Aviva, helping deliver change while maintaining business-as-usual.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Qualified accountant with 5+ years in a senior finance role within insurance industry
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience with a proven track record in delivering finance change projects
  • Expert knowledge of accounting standards, both UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Skilled in financial reporting, data analysis and systems (SUN/Oracle GL desirable)
  • Proven experience in insurance accounting and working across related corporate entities; Lloyd's market exposure is a strong advantage
