A bit about the job: Aviva’s Personal Lines business is entering an exciting phase of growth following a period of strong profitability. As PCW Motor Pricing Senior Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving forward our pricing and underwriting capability within the Retail Pricing team. You’ll be accountable for developing and delivering pricing strategies for our PCW motor business, leading a team of specialists, and working closely with colleagues across underwriting, trading, data and analytics to deliver sustainable growth. You’ll ensure customers are treated fairly while maintaining strong risk and financial performance.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong understanding of the UK general insurance market, ideally within personal lines motor
- Proven underwriting and pricing capability with excellent commercial judgement
- Strong financial and statistical knowledge, with the ability to translate insight into action
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Desirable experience using pricing and analytics tools such as Radar, Earnix, SQL, Python or R
What you’ll get for this role:
- Starting salary between c. £90,000 and c. £110,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
- Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
- 29 days holiday plus
