Location - Home based - Regular travel around South West region will be required. This role is perfect for someone who loves building strong relationships and spotting new opportunities. You’ll have deep knowledge of retirement solutions and the intermediary market, enjoy influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders, and want to make a real impact in shaping Aviva’s retirement strategy. This role will require a minimum of 3 days a week face to face with clients.

A bit about the job: We’re looking for a Retirement Solutions Manager to help Aviva become the go-to expert in retirement planning. You’ll work with key accounts to deliver holistic solutions across equity release, annuities, and long-term care. This role is all about building strong relationships, spotting opportunities, and driving growth in the retirement market. You’ll report into the strategic account managers, while collaborating with the marketing teams and distribution teams to shape propositions and campaigns. Ultimately, you’ll make sure our customers and partners receive the best possible retirement solutions. This role requires regular travel across the South West region.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Deep knowledge of retirement solutions (e.g., annuities, equity release, drawdown).
  • Strong understanding of the intermediary and retirement marketplace.
  • Proven track record in managing distribution relationships and driving growth.
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

The expected pay range for this role will fall at circa 65k - salary offered will commensurate with candidate's level of skills and experience. A competitive market leading salary depending on skills, experience, and qualifications. Generous pension (employee contribution matching of up to 14% if you contribute 8%).
