A bit about the job:
This senior tech leadership role involves driving the implementation of technology strategies aligned with business goals. You'll oversee platform reliability, process improvement, and user experience across the organization. The role demands strong leadership across a range of technologies, development approaches, team development and stakeholder management. You'll engage with external partners to deliver scalable solutions and maintain industry visibility. A focus on innovation, governance, and risk management is key to success in this position.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Brings hands-on experience from the Healthcare IT, Insurance or related sectors, along with a strong grasp of how IT systems and operations support business needs in these environments.
- Has worked extensively with Salesforce platforms, leading technical implementations, ideally using Health/Financial Services Clouds, delivering tailored solutions and improved user experiences.
- Lead and manage the technology development team(s) responsible for maintaining and implementing the organisation's technology development frameworks and policies, whilst ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of software development life cycles, having worked across diverse technologies and projects using agile and collaborative development practices.
- Shows confidence in managing a wide range of stakeholders, effectively balancing priorities and maintaining strong communication in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.
- Has been involved in delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects and works seamlessly with technical teams, healthcare professionals, and other key partners to drive outcomes.
What you’ll get for this role:
- National and London salary £130,000 - £150,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity – 25% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
- Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
