A bit about the job: As Head of Martech and Partnering, you’ll set the vision and roadmap for Aviva’s MarTech stack for Omnichannel experience and ensure strategy translates into execution at pace. You’ll own the design, integration, and optimisation of our Martech and data platforms, enabling audience management, experimentation, personalisation, and marketing automation across web, app, and outbound channels. You’ll bring marketing, data, and engineering together: establishing standards for interoperability (APIs, identity resolution, tagging and eventing), championing robust governance and consent management, and putting in place the right operating model, vendor partnerships, and KPIs to drive value. You’ll lead a talented team, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and partner closely with senior leaders across Marketing, Data, Digital, and IT to deliver outcomes our customers feel, and the business can measure.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Support the evolution of the enterprise’s digital marketing capability by partnering with business and markets to define a unified MarTech strategy that leverages real‑time customer data, advanced segmentation, and AI‑powered personalisation.
- Proven leadership of large‑scale MarTech programmes, including Adobe Experience Cloud, CRM, Cloud based marketing products from strategy through to implementation and run.
- Strong technical depth across platform integration, APIs, data pipelines, identity/segmentation, tagging/analytics, testing, and personalisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication, with the confidence to influence at executive level and simplify the complex.
- Familiarity with privacy, consent, and data governance in regulated environments.

- Salary circa £140,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity – 25% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
