We’re looking for a leader to drive technology, strategy and change management across our Claims function, someone who thrives on delivering transformation, boosting efficiency, and fostering innovation, all while ensuring operational resilience.

A bit about the job: As the Head of IT Business Partnering for Claims you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the Claims technology and change management strategies that drive business transformation, efficiency and innovation, while protecting the Claims business and “keeping the tech lights on”.
  • Driving Claims business value and enhancing customer experience through efficient and effective planning and delivery of change within the Claims portfolio, ensuring that the needs and expectations of the Claims business are met.
  • Playing a key role in the UKGI and Claims leadership team, driving Claims delivery, managing value and executing effective governance.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Extensive experience within UK General Insurance (ideally in claims).
  • Proven experience delivering change at scale for both business and IT transformation.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and influencing in a complex, highly regulated financial services environment, including management of 3rd party suppliers.
  • A strong technical background and experience of IT change projects including estate simplification, migration to cloud, reduction in run cost, data centre migration and DevOps adoptions (experience with Guidewire would be highly desirable).
  • Proven ability of building and developing the capability of Claims change delivery teams.

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Starting salary between ÂŁ110,000 and ÂŁ130,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
  • Bonus opportunity - 25% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
