A bit about the job: You’ll lead our Commercial Motor Claims Customer function and guide the full journey from first notification through to settlement. You’ll help us deliver brilliant customer outcomes and strengthen our market-leading indemnity position. You’ll work closely with our broker network, building relationships that are both strong and trusted. You’ll join a supportive and collaborative Claims leadership team that values insight, innovation and clear operational direction. A key part of this role is working closely with Underwriting, Pricing and Distribution to ensure strong alignment across the end-to-end motor business. You’ll play a central role in shaping how we use digital capability, analytics and partnerships to transform our service. You’ll be accountable for operational performance, strategic delivery and coaching a high-performing team to achieve their best. Strengthening relationships with brokers and external partners will also be essential to enhancing our service, improving outcomes and supporting sustainable commercial growth.
Responsibilities:
- Strong senior-level expertise in motor insurance and claims management within a regulated financial services environment.
- Proven leadership of large, complex customer operations delivering strong customer and commercial outcomes.
- Experience leading teams through major organisational or digital transformation.
- Ability to drive operational excellence, manage risk and ensure compliance with FCA requirements.
- Skilled at building positive relationships with senior stakeholders across Underwriting, Pricing, Distribution and Claims, as well as managing and developing strong broker relationships.

- Starting salary competitive (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
