We are looking for a Fraud Claims Investigator, if you have a background in commercial insurance and in an investigation or fraud prevention type role, we would love to hear from you!
This is a great job for someone who loves to investigate, engage with customers and third parties to assist with evidence gathering.
As this is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract, paternity cover role, we are looking for immediate starters.
A bit about the job:
The role will be supporting commercial property claims. As the Fraud Claims Investigator, you will review potentially fraudulent claims that have been referred from a variety of sources, by appropriately investigating potential fraudulent claims and support our genuine customers claims being settled as quickly as possible.
You will deal with customer demand so must have effective telephony skills and be able to show initiative, making quick decisions when necessary. Along with managing your own time whilst working as a team to maintain a caseload of active investigations.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience working in commercial or property insurance claims or commercial fraud investigation.
- Desirable but not essential to understand fraud investigations and possible outcomes of investigations.
- The ability to effectively manage personal workload.
- Excellent communication skills – written and oral
- Knowledge of UK legislation including The Fraud Act 2006 (desirable)
