A bit about the job
This role exists to strengthen our commercial claims capability and help our teams deliver great, consistent outcomes for our customers. You’ll join our Commercial Technical Team, working with colleagues across our Loss Adjusting, Claims, FNOL and Complaints teams. You’ll offer expert guidance on complex claims, develop technical standards and help build confidence and capability across the operation. You’ll also support training and development programmes, working closely with Learning & Development to upskill our people. Your experience will make a real difference to our performance, our judgement, and the service we provide.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Expertise in complex commercial buildings claims or specialist technical queries.
- Strong understanding of commercial property processes, reinstatement scoping, fraud indicators and recoveries.
- Confident stakeholder skills, with the ability to work with customers, brokers and suppliers and handle complaints effectively.
- A proactive approach to improvement, with ideas to enhance how we support customers.
- CILA qualified or able to demonstrate significant technical insurance experience.
What you’ll get for this role:
- Salary circa £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity – 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
