Do you enjoy speaking with people on the phone? We’re growing our Income Protection Claims Team and looking for new Claims Assessors (known as Claims Case Managers at Aviva) to join us. You’ll manage a portfolio of claims cases, working closely with internal and external partners to support both employers and employees. By assessing claims, arranging treatment and providing telephony support, you will help to get the best outcome for the customer.
You’ll support customers during difficult times—whether they’re off work, returning or facing long-term absence. This role involves helping people through treatment, financial stress, or life-changing events so you’ll need to support individuals with empathy and clarity.
100% office attendance will be required for a minimum of 6 months and then potential of some home working dependent on progression in line with Step progression framework.
- Confident on the phone and able to communicate clearly with a range of people.
- Great at planning, organising and managing your time.
- Experience in insurance or income protection is a bonus, but not essential.
Starting salary £28500 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity - 6% of annual salary actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
- Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
