A bit about the job: Our Customer Science team uses data to understand customers so we can be more relevant and take better actions. We are award-winning and passionate about driving better customer and commercial outcomes. This role exists to help Aviva improve key digital journeys and funnels by making data clear, trusted, and actionable. The right person will deliver high quality analytics, understand customer behaviour and help deliver our Aviva ambition. Working closely with product, optimisation, and tagging teams, you’ll monitor performance, identify opportunities, and influence decisions. You’ll be accountable for delivering reliable dashboards, meaningful insight, and analysis that improves conversion and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree or post-graduate level in a numerate or business-oriented subject, or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge through industry experience.
- Have a working understanding of SQL, web analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, GA4) and proven ability to manipulate large datasets for analysis.
- Experience translating data into clear, actionable insights using Excel and PowerPoint for storytelling that drives decisions.
- Is passionate about using customer data and advanced analytics expertise with proven experience to help businesses understand customer behaviour and take action.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a proactive approach; a great team player.
What you’ll get for this role:
- Starting salary circa £45,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
- Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
- 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days.
